The materials made in Taiwan (Asia) have advantages, compared to foreign materials which are facing raw material shortages, energy crisis and increasing freight costs. Taiwan ingredients can avoid the long-distance transportation, long lead time, additional costs and high MOQ for tons or pallets.

Using local Asian materials is also a movement to support the ESG and SDGs as local materials can minimize the carbon footprints caused from transportation. It can not only save the transportation cost but also add value to company image by linking to the green supply chain and devoting to the environmental protection.

Upcycled actives derived from the rice milling co-product stream are developed and manufactured under internationally recognized quality and safety standards, and COSMOS Standard has an established methodology for co-product and upcycled raw materials — including rules on co-product allocation and processing restrictions.
